NBC kicks God out of Veggie Tales - Allows Madonna To Mock Jesus

The television network NBC recently decided to add Veggie Tales to their Saturday morning cartoon lineup. At first this sounded like a good thing. As a father of four little children, I have viewed most of the Veggie Tale videos. They incorporate the Bible, Jesus, and morals into their stories. Airing this on nationwide television will be great.

WRONG. NBC, since signing the deal, has opted to remove references to God and especially Bible verses. These have been deemed offensive.

In a related story, NBC has also decided to air a two-hour concert of Madonna. In it she is placed on a mirrored cross, wearing a fake crown of thorns and sings while “crucified”. Madonna was raised Roman Catholic, and she has since converted to Kabbalistic Judaism. She has a long history of sacrilege in her “music”. This current instance of mocking of Jesus has not been found “religious” or “offensive” by NBC.

Some religious and family groups are protesting these decisions by NBC.

Mainstream media is actively working against Christian Americans. They are working to destroy you and your children. Entertainment has become the great American pastime. Watching TV is one of the only activities families do together. How long will we minimize our faith for the sake of entertainment?

Wake up. There is a war going on. It is a spiritual war being waged against the Word of God. That is why they hate the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you were looking for a reason to turn off your TV, I have given you two.

What is wrong with a group people who think it is ok for a singer to be crucified on TV but it is wrong for a cucumber to say “God”?

I am a Pentecostal preacher. I regularly preach on the United Christian Telecast which is shown on various areas around the Southeast. But it is easy to see the error of much of what is called “televangelism”. After watching this I did not know if I should laugh or to cry.

There is a true Holy Ghost Baptism but everything on TV is not good example.
